Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for our next dive in this New Year. Welcome aboard. I hope everyone had a good holiday season.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The County's rain advisory is still in place. I expect that to be lifted tomorrow, possibly today, we'll see. The surf is running 1-3+ feet, less than ideal but manageable if you head out. Viz today should be in the 10 feet range. So with that info, are you willing to dive during the rain advisory and risking diving in water with high bacteria??? I don't, but that is my choice, we all make our own choices. However, as I remind some people, be sure to clean out your ears after diving in such water, I use a solution of mainly alcohol, with some white vinegar in it. Again, I only give you my recommendations because I've been there.

Our plans. Well, it finally looks like we could be back in business this Saturday. I would like to see an improvement in the general conditions, especially the viz. So stay tuned and we'll decide by Friday.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
