Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions around Laguna Beach. The good news is the County did not issue a rain advisory. The bad news, it just sucks out there right now. The LBLG's report says 4-6 feet of viz and mainly 2-3+ feet on surf. I usually say viz is better than what they report, I would say you should be able to find 10 feet of viz today. Yesterday I watched the live cam as the waves broke over Seal Rock at Crescent Bay, the rock that is the lower one. That was interesting to see 'live'. Is it worth your efforts to be out there today? Thumbs sideways. As I write this the high tide of 7.0 (LBLG report again) was just before 8 AM, it is still really high when I looked at the live cam. The water was reaching the sailboat on the beach this AM.

Speaking of the boat on the beach:

More info for you.

Our plans for tomorrow. We are going to "Give it a shot". Since the extreme high tide will occur during our dive plans, we could get great viz or it could be crap too. Surf should be in the 1-3+ feet range. Since we are planning on diving S Laguna, bring your quarters, most of S Laguna meters don't take cards. Now is this worth your drive in from the inland areas?? Boy that is tough. But considering where we want to dive, I feel it is worth 'trying out'. I don't think we will cancel our dive plans, we could pick between multiple sites. Louis & I will see YOU tomorrow, BE THERE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
