Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Good time to join up, because the conditions are good. Just show up for a dive soon, how about tomorrow?? Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions around Laguna Beach for today. Yesterday I expected the swell models to show an increase in the surf as the day wore on, but it stayed dark blue (1 foot surf) all day long. It would have been great water skiing with very glassy water. Even the Channel Islands looked good, Cortez Bank would have been a great place, long boat ride but I bet the diving was good. But for today the surf has increased to maybe 2 footers in some places, Laguna looks good at mainly 1 footers. VIZ? Today should be an easy 20-30+ feet of viz. So where would you go today?? A place you don't normally dive because of lack of surf? Or would you go in search of the best viz?? Now you see what Louis & I decide for our diving plans. Get out there today.

Our plans are ON for tomorrow, Saturday. If you have not showed up for a dive with us before, Louis & I are usually there at the meeting spot by 7:15 (Info & Directions on web page) and we can help you with questions and that gives us a chance to meet each other. Where we go tomorrow will depend on who shows up, since the conditions are going to be "Good" or better, I suggest that tomorrow will be a good day for inexperienced divers to get in the water with our experienced people and have a good dive. If you are driving in from the inland areas, my recommendation is that it will be worth your drive into the OC. So have your gear ready and be prepared for cold water and good viz. See you tomorrow, BE THERE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
