Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon and you too can be gaining experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I keep seeing an increase of surf on the swell models, but on the Laguna live cam, it has not showed up as of yet. For the last couple of days, it has remained pretty flat out there. I noticed on Saturday while I was on the beach, there was a 3-4 foot set of waves that came up, but as usual for our area, it was like that in the center & South end of Crescent Bay, but the North end was less than 2 feet. So as your OW training taught you, make sure you know where to enter & exit the water. But the viz should be running 15-30 feet, depending on where you go. But keep an eye on the surf, we are getting protection from Catalina for now, but that can change.

Our plans or Saturday. I saw on the weather forecasts they are saying rain on Fri-Sun. Noooo!!!! But I can hope it is really light and there won't be a rain advisory to mess things up. Time for those pagan rituals to keep the rain Gods away for our diving, call that an anti rain dance..?? You get the idea. How do they say that in the commercials, it is only weird if it doesn't work, right??

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
