Good morning Divers!!!

Max Depth: 40ft
Dive Duration: 40:41
Time in and out: 8:51 − 9:33
Temp: 54 degrees f
Visibility: 15-20 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide, small waves.
Dive Buddies: Ryan, Rich. Total of 9.

Construction on the 405 made me a little late. Rich wasn't in the mood for Deadman's so we went to Heisler park. The ocean was real calm when we got there.
Very little surf. The tide was really low and many reefs were exposed.

We swam out to the drop down point and descended. The water had a green tint but visibility was good - between 15 to 20 feet. We headed for the reef.

We noticed a lot of big sheepshead fish. The lobsters were coming out in the daylight. Plenty of Garibaldi. Other fish were plentiful too. This is probably
because Laguna Beach is now a no-take zone.

We swam to the middle of the outer reef and then slowly headed back in. Because the surf was so low, we were in 5 feet of water and still trying to swim as
close to shore as possible.

After packing up our gear we headed to Husky Boy's to eat and talk about the dive.
