Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive soon. Welcome aboard.

"I'm back". I was in a week long Cisco training class for CCNA certification. So if you know a company needing someone with development experience and with Cisco knowledge, let me know. Just networking with everyone on the list. Thanks ahead of time.

Louis mentioned yesterday that I saw Dolphins while everyone was diving. Well, I saw about 100 of them, there was a big bait ball over near the point of Heisler Park. I asked "You guys did hear them underwater?" and a couple of those who were there did in fact hear them u/w. They were that close to Diver's Cove. I know it has been awhile since a dive here for SCD, but the 2 of the 3 signs say this is Heisler Park, one at the top says Diver's Cove. I found that different too.

Current diving conditions around Laguna Beach. The swell models show 2-3 feet of surf but the live cams show 1-2 feet mostly. Pretty flat out there. The surface is glassy too. Viz today will depend on where you go. On Saturday, while our group had about 30 feet of viz at Diver's, I read a couple of dive reports that said Deadman's Reef had at about 20 feet of viz. I did notice from the top of the cliff at Diver's/Heisler Park, we could easily see the bottom going out around the reefs. So if you can get a good vantage point, it will help. But today, the viz should still be good at 20-30+ feet. Enjoy your dive today and drop me a dive report if you head out.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned, but it looks pretty good right now.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
