Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon, maybe this Saturday. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions around Laguna Beach. The surf has picked up a bit from yesterday, running 1-3 feet as I write this. The viz should still be good though, it will depend on the dive site that you choose. Viz today should still be in the 15-30 feet range. I got a dive report from Javy from his night dive at Wood's Cove last night. He reported 1-3 feet of surf and viz around 15 feet, typical for Wood's Cove. But sounds like a "Not bad" dive. If you head out today, drop me a dive report.

Our plans look good for this Saturday. If you have signed up for the SCD txt msg list, I will try out the new program I wrote that will tell you where we are going. I will send that out once we are at the dive site. The txt msg will include the dive site and some notes on how to get there. You will have about 10-15 minutes to get to where we are and then get ready quickly before hitting the water. So if you want a txt msg, make sure you sign up on the SCD Email List, you'll see a "TXT MSG Sign-up" link there. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
