Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions for today. Well, rain, surf and advisories equal a bad combination. At about 7:45 the County issued their rain advisory, to see how they post it, again go to http://ocbeachinfo.com/ The surf is running 5-6 feet max according to the swell models. The live cams show 3-5+ feet of surf. Either way, not good for viz or going through the surf zone. I have not called the LBLG's report line yet, but I would not be surprised if they closed the city's beaches to diving. Remember the rain advisory lasts for 3 days after it stops raining. Plus more rain is expected during the day today.

Our plans, well, they are history. We will focus on next week instead. I will send out a txt msg to say the same thing. It might seem redundant, but it will show the system is working properly and if you get one, please reply so I know that everyone on that list received it, thanks ahead of time. So get your "Honey-do's" done and we'll see how it looks for next week. Stay safe & dry.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
