Good morning Divers!!!

Max Depth: 45ft
Dive Duration: 48:24
Time in and out: 8:42 − 9:31
Temp: 54 degrees f
Visibility: 12 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide, small waves.
Equipment: Custom wet suit, watch, steel tank, Hollis back plate BCD, Sony Action Camera.
Dive Buddies: Rich. Total of 9.

We had a new guy join us at the mall. Rich wasn't in the mood for Deadman's and so he decided on Heisler park. We drove on down and the ocean was really
calm. We suited up and went in.

When I entered the water it looked clear and the water was cold when it entered my wet suit through the ankles. We swam out and descended.

Rich led the way and it confused a few of us that have dove here before. He headed west (it should have been east) and then north (towards shore). He went
around a reef and then headed east and south. We skirted a reef and then crossed a large "desert" of sand. We reached the large reef and swam up and over it.

We explored the reef and then crossed over back to the side closest to shore. I was getting cold and pointed to shore so Rich knew it was time to head back.
We were close to shore when we separated and I saw a large bat ray. The bat ray swam away before I could turn on my video camera. I surfaced and swam the
rest of the way to shore. Rich popped up 20 yards from me and we all met on shore.

At Husky Boy's we discussed the cold and perhaps it was caused by 3 or 4 days of constant fog over Laguna. The visibility wasn't that good and I noticed the
water was a little greener. Is it spring time in the ocean?
