Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Simply show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Current dive conditions around Laguna Beach. I received this "Short & simple" dive report:
"We went out yesterday [Wed] at 9:30 in little Corona del Mar Newport Beach and swim out past the kelp and drop down to about 35 feet, invisibility was about 6 feet, we swam in around the rocks and it was a little bit clearer but not much." Thanks Dennis, love the term describing the Viz or lack of it. For today, I would say the surf has a SW swell running 1-4 feet. I saw yesterday on the Aliso live cam that there were some 5 footers, nasty looking. So viz in the area will be suffering 8-12 feet of viz. It doesn't look promising to say the least.

Our plans. Louis & I still want to head down to Laguna. WE have a plan, even IF we cancel our dive, what is it? You will have to show up tomorrow for our dive plan. We try at times to have a backup plan for when it is like this. If you are driving in from the inland areas, probably not worth your drive into the area, unless you are interested in "Getting out" and joining us for our plans. We will check it out for ourselves. I will do my best to get out a TxtMsg while remote in Laguna too.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
