Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Simply show up for a scheduled dive and you can gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Our Saturday dive at Mountain Ave had some interesting critters. Our part of the group saw 5 different Leopard Sharks and 2 very large Guitar Sharks, 5-6 feet in length (Although it is possible we saw the same one twice), plus the vertical swim through that we went through. Special thanks to Paul, Lisa, Dave and others who helped me out with a diver who had a medical issue, he ended up being ok. But Paul made 2 trips up the cliff, first with his own gear, then the other divers gear. Everything turned out ok and I like to give credit for those who help out when needed. Since it is that time of the year, when there aren't lifeguards on most of the beaches in Laguna, we really have to take care of our own.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. There is a S swell now, running 2-3 feet according to the swell models. The live cams show 1-3 feet of surf. Viz should be varied, running less than 10 feet to 15+ feet, depending on where you hit the water at. If you head out, send me a dive report.

Our plans are for Saturday. It is early in the week, so stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
