Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The S swell is still making a mess of viz in Laguna Beach. The swell is a bit lower than yesterday morning, but it is still running 2-3+ feet, less than ideal, but manageable. My concern is, of course, the VIZ. Viz, according to the LBLG's report is in the 6-8 feet range. But from what I see on the live cams, I would think viz is running 8-12 feet, it will depend on your dive site. But generally, as we know, a S swell is not good for viz in Laguna. If you head out today/tonight, drop me a dive report.

Our plans are for Saturday. We want the S swell to go away and viz to improve. Stay tuned and we'll see what happens.

A reminder that Chamber Day is Wed, May 1st. Go to http://www.chamberday.org for more info and to sign up. I highly recommend that everyone participate in this fund raising event. Support the Chamber at Catalina, the ONLY chamber in S CA that is ONLY for divers. If you cannot get time off work, attend Chamber Evening at the AoP or sign up for the Flying Dutchman. The Chamber relies on this event to make it through the year. Thanks.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
