Good morning Divers!!!

Max Depth: 50ft
Dive Duration: 29:05
Time in and out: 9:00 − 9:29
Temp: 53 degrees f
Visibility: 12 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide moving to high, south waves.
Dive Buddies: Rich, Paul. Total of 11.

The south swell was hitting Laguna earlier in the week and started to subside by Friday. Rich's email was still positive but only 11 showed up at the mall. The
tide was moving from low to high and Rich thought it would be good to try Cleo street.

We arrived at Cleo and the ocean looked calm but some waves did hit the beach. We suited up and headed out. There were large patches of kelp blocking our
swim out. I decided to try something different and descend and swim under the kelp canopy. This was easier than crawling over it or trying to find a break.

We reached the drop down point and descended. Rich started to swim back to shore and towards the left. Through the corner of his eye he saw something dark
and went towards the right. And then we hit the wreck.

We broke up into small groups and swam up and down the wreck. We explored all the nooks and crannies and after awhile we all met up again and then
headed to shore. We were hoping to find some bat rays on the way back, none were found.

The surf picked up a bit when we exited the water, but we all made it out without getting tumbled. We packed up and headed to Husky Boy's for food and
conversation.
