Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard. The list is now over 1200 addy's.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Yesterday I was busy working on a web page and then I took a break and checked the live cams... Wow, surf was up big time. A big S swell started hitting Laguna and it wasn't a pretty sight. The surf zone was 2-3 times as wide as when we go diving, not good at all, 3-5+ feet of surf. Today, the strong S swell is still with us. Viz has to be suffering at less than 10 feet too. If you decide you have to go diving today, you should check to make sure diving is open in Laguna's city limits: 949.494.6573 Yesterday, diving was "Closed within city limits" according to the LBLG's recorded report. I do not recommend diving today, unless you go to the islands.

Our plans for tomorrow. Well, after all of that, we are canceling our plans. I will send out a TxtMsg also shortly too. Surf is forecasted to be much the same it is now. Again, check the LBLG's report before you go. We will focus on next Saturday. If you are near the beach during sunset, grab some pictures, with all of the smoke in the air, sunset pictures should be very dramatic.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
