Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I called the LBLG's report yesterday and they said 0-5 feet of viz and 2-4 feet of surf, yet diving was open in Laguna with some words of caution for the surf zone, yellow flag. We need the surf to drop down and the S swell to go away. This AM, it looks like the S swell is subsiding, yet it is low tide as I write this. Surf is running 1-3+ right now and the viz is less than 10 feet. I'll keep an eye on the conditions. I was disappointed that the diving conditions were bad all w/e, nearly every dive report I got said viz was less than 5-7 feet with up to 5-6 feet of surf. LBLG's closed the beach to diving too, on Monday, I didn't call them Sat/Sun.

Our plans are for Saturday. We want surf less and the viz to improve. Stay tuned.

I read that 2 divers were "busted" for poaching Green Abalone at Moss Point. Just goes to show you, they will catch you when you break the laws. Remember that Laguna Beach is a no take zone, period.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
