Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. If what you are looking for is experience and people to dive with, then show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Louis hit it right on the head about our dive on Saturday. I was telling people at our meeting spot I was hoping for 12-18 feet of viz and we had 20-30 feet, it was great to be diving. I kept thinking that we had viz like this before when there was only one high tide and Saturday sorta confirmed my thinking that this can happen when there is only one low tide too. As Louis said, if you didn't dive over the w/e, you really missed out. I really enjoyed seeing the usual critters including some Cowry's and a small Moray Eel, which was cute all coiled up in his hole.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf has dropped down to what we like 1-2+ feet. The viz I will say is in the 15-20+ feet range. So right now, "Not bad". Some of the better viz spots could have better viz too. Seems we have entered our normal "June gloom" weather patterns.

Our plans are for Saturday. The tide will be on the high side for our dive. It is early in the week. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
