Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Come dive with us to gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. "Improving" is the term I will use today. Over the w/e diving was closed in Laguna and the surf was upwards of 8-10 feet at times. I did see that the LBLG's had a red flag all w/e long too. But yesterday & today surf is back down to a more normal 1-3 feet. There is still a slight S swell, but much better. Right now as I write this the tide is really low. From what I can see on the live cam, it appears there is a lot of reef rock sticking out of the water at Main Beach. Viz? Well, my estimate for viz today will be in the 10-15 feet range today. Since the surf has really dropped down this has helped Laguna get back to normal. If you head out today, drop me a dive report.

Our plans are looking pretty good for Saturday. I have not looked at long term swell models yet. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
