Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Saturday dive report/recap. I showed up at the mall at 7:10 and shortly after that the first few divers started showing up. I knew I wasn't going to the beach, I had relatives in from out of town for Father's Day, I hope everyone had a good Father's Day. We had 13 divers show up and I asked Drake for a dive report. I suggested that Deadman's Reef would be the dive spot, hoping for 10 feet of viz. I got 3 different dive reports, the viz wasn't good at 5-8 feet, although one report said 15 feet, so I will summarized the viz as 5-8 feet with a spot or two at 10+ feet. Most of the divers gave up after 15 minutes or so. This dive did not meet our min 10 feet of viz, but that is how it is in Laguna at times. Sergi found an Angel Shark near the reef. Not the best of dives for a Saturday.

Current conditions in Laguna Beach. The morning swell has been running 1-3 feet and the water surface is glassy. So viz is my concern, I will say 10 feet (Or less) after the dive reports I've received. Today there is only one low tide, how will that effect viz??

Our plans are back to this Saturday. It is just the start of the week, so stay tuned..

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
