Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a dive soon and you can gain experience in our local waters and have people to dive with. Welcome aboard.

I hope everyone had a decent 4th of July. I received a few dive reports and PV (Palos Verdes) appears to have been the spot to dive, with very good viz at 30+ feet in the majority of the reports. This makes sense due to the S swell, which messes up Laguna. I got one report from Reef Point and it was 10-15+ feet of viz too, although surgy. Shaw's Cove was 10-15+ yesterday and from what I heard there were a lot of people down there, 4th of July people trying to get their beach spots for the day. So to summarize, Laguna yesterday was 8-15+, LBLG's said 8-10 feet of viz yesterday.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Similar to yesterday, 10-15 feet. This meets our minimum, although it could be better. LBLG's are reporting Sting Rays and beach goers to watch out for them, plus they are still saying 8-10 feet of viz for today. So I would say "Not too bad, but could be better" and this is because we still have a S swell influencing Laguna right now.

Our plans for tomorrow. We are ON. Viz should be 10+ feet. It will really depend on where we go, but we are searching for viz, so if you dive today, drop me a dive report, that will help. IF you are new to our group, please show up a bit early, say 7:15, Louis & I are usually there by 7:10. So have everything you need and be ready to dive, we'll see you tomorrow, BE THERE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
