Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. I wish I could say you've joined up at a great time for our diving in Laguna, but we've had such bad conditions for so long, it seems depressing. But I have confidence it will not stay like this. So plan to show up for one of our scheduled dives soon. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Well, as I said, it hasn't been good and today, it appears to be more of the same. The surf is running 1-3+ feet and the viz is round 10 feet & less. I keep reading dive reports and hoping to see some kind of report of 15 feet of viz or more and it just ain't happening in Laguna Beach. Louis & I have been doing email and the common theme is "What's up with this?" Yet we're trying to stay optimistic. If you head out drop me a dive report. The surf patterns show a decrease in surf for tomorrow and then building again for the weekend.

Our plans are for Saturday. We will keep an eye on the conditions. We have cancelled 4 of the last 5 weekends and the one we decided to go on had low viz & high surf too. As I said, conditions like this are unusual, but we will keep looking. I have read reports from Catalina & even the wrecks in San Diego, seems like there is some decent viz out there, you just can't find it in Laguna Beach right now. But for this week, your best shot at better than 10 feet in Laguna Beach will be tomorrow.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
