Good morning Divers!!!
Once again, welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Simply show up for a scheduled dive, conditions permitting and you can gain experience in our local waters and even have buddies to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current conditions for diving in Laguna Beach. Well, the surf isn't going to get any lower today, even though it is still mainly a S swell. Surf is 1-2 feet right now. I also see the two live cams for Main Beach are not working this morning. Viz? I called the LBLG's recorded report yesterday and they said surf was 1-3+ feet and viz was 6-8 feet with a spot or two with 10 feet of viz and their surf flag was yellow. So for today, 10-15 feet of viz should be found at the better viz spots. Get your dive in today, because after today, the surf forecast is not good. If you head out today, pick a place known for better viz and then drop me a dive report.

Our plans. As I said, the surf forecast for Saturday is not looking good. The tide will be high at 8:45 AM on Saturday, but it is the surf & viz we're worried about. Stay tuned, we are determined to get into the water. But not make a bad choice either.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
