Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up to gain experience in our local waters and to get dive buddies too. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The swell models show 1-2 feet of surf and so does the live cam, now that it is working again, the Wyland live cam is still having issues though. I called the LBLG's recording yesterday and they said surf was 1-2 feet and the viz 10-12 feet and good because of the clear water, that just sounded weird to me. 10-12 feet of viz they consider good?? I would call that average for Laguna, but I find they are on the pessimistic side of things for viz usually. But today looks pretty good, I would say viz is in the 10-15+ range, you could find even better, 20 feet?? That could be found out at Deadman's Reef today. I wish it would stay like this. If you head out today or tonight, drop me a dive report.

Our plans are for Saturday. The swell forecast shows surf getting up to 5+ feet for Laguna Beach, that sucks. We are getting bad conditions except for a day here or there and definitely not on Saturdays lately. Grrr.... But I want to try to stay optimistic, we'll see. Stay tuned...

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
