Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive and you'll be gaining experience in our local waters and even have people to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Falling apart. Looks like the days to dive were Wed & Thu of this week. The surf has picked up already at 3+ feet this AM and is expected to increase throughout the day today. One report I heard on the news yesterday said 3-6 feet at S facing OC beaches. Of course, Laguna faces S. Viz? Well, you might still find 10 feet in a place or two, but the increasing surf will have a lot to do with that today.

Our plans are cancelled for tomorrow. The surf forecast shows 3-5+ feet tomorrow. That alone should stop you, but in case you decide to go, viz should be bad too, less than 10 feet, I will predict viz in the 5-8 feet range for tomorrow, could even be less. So Louis & I will focus on next weekend instead. So to be official, we have now cancelled 5 of the last 6 weekends and the one we went on wasn't really worth it either. What's up with these bad conditions lately??

Decent diving can be found out at the Islands and you might find decent viz at PV too, but Laguna is washed out. If you find viz somewhere, drop me a dive report.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
