Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I called the LBLG's recorded report yesterday and "Diving is closed in City limits due to high surf and bad visibility". The report said 3-5 feet of surf with occasional 6 footers, viz 2-6 feet. Call them at 949.494.6573 to see if diving is open in city limits. This AM the surf is still up at 3-4+ feet with a strong S swell. I don't see the viz being better than 10 feet today either, probably closer to 6-7 feet of viz. But you should not be out there today, high surf and bad viz is a bad combination. Maybe it is a good thing that I have not read a single dive report for Laguna Beach, that might be telling me that divers are staying out of the water when it is like this. Remember my "Is it worth it" factor, today it isn't worth it.

Outlook for this week. I see the forecast shows a slight decrease in the surf and S swell for Thu, looks like 3-4 feet is projected. Viz should be low all week, 4-8 feet the way it looks right now.

Our plans are still for Saturday. We'll see how the week pans out. Stay tuned. I see I forgot to send out "We cancelled" TxtMsg on Fri/Sat, tells you how bummed out I am about not diving.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
