Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a scheduled dive and you can gain experience in our waters and have other divers to dive with too. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions & outlook in Laguna Beach. The swell models still show a heavy duty S swell affecting Laguna Beach. The live cams look a bit better, I would say surf is running 1-3+ feet this AM. But it's the viz that I am looking for. Looks like viz could (Repeat that COULD) get to 10 feet today. The LBLG's recorded report for yesterday said 2-4 feet, yet no word about diving being closed, so it was open according to their report. Even they said viz was 6-8 feet. Looks like if you want a 10 foot and less viz dive, you could get that today. It looks like tomorrow will be a bit better, surf wise and hopefully viz wise too. But then the swell starts to build again for the w/e.

From the swell models, it looks like La Jolla could actually have decent viz and low surf, due to the angle of the S swell, so if you want to head down there, double check SD sources and see if the viz is ok.

Our plans are for Saturday. Again, the forecast doesn't favor our plans, but we will wait & see. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
