Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. You need to show up for a scheduled dive soon, since conditions are pretty good right now. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions around Laguna Beach. Pretty good, as I said. The surf is staying around 1-3 feet and the viz should be similar to how it was on the w/e, I'll put viz range at 15-25+ feet, depending on where you go. We had such good viz that I was jealous being stuck on beach patrol again. Heisler Park had small waves that broke right on the beach and very good viz on Saturday. Two of our divers had over 70 minutes of BT and their comments were, "I just kept looking up and watching my bubbles. Oh yea, saw a Smooth Round Ray too..." That is a rarity in Laguna, the Smooth Round Rays have a very short tail and the ends of the "Wings" have a curve instead of the sharp angles of the Bat Rays we usually see.

Our plans are for Saturday, it will be low tide around noon, but only one low tide on Saturday, will that effect the viz in a positive way?? We'll see. Get your gear ready, conditions are getting better & better lately.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
