Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Returning to more average conditions. The surf is running its usual 1-3 feet and it looks like viz is in the 10-20 feet range. I would call this average or a bit better for our area, or "Not bad". To recap a bit from Saturday, part of our group experienced what I tend to call "Deadman's curse" where you feel your compass is lying to you, making you turn around and miss the reef. As I have always been saying, there is nothing like knowing site familiarity, get to know each dive site and trust your experiences with a dive site.

Our plans are for Saturday. The tide will be high and the surf similar to how it is now. Viz should be in the 10-20 feet range too, depending on where we go out.

If you head out drop me a dive report.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
