Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Simply show up for a scheduled dive and you'll have buddies to dive with and gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Well, could be better, to say the least. Surf is 2-4+ in Laguna Beach right now. I have not read any local dive reports from the last few days, so to actually know from anyone who has been out there isn't possible. Yesterday's report from LBLG's did not say much about surf, other than a green flag, yet they said viz was 8-10 feet. For today, since the surf is up, I would say viz is similar, 10 feet. I would also say that beach entries would be best left to those really experienced beach divers, not for the newbies.

Our plans for tomorrow. WE are ON. From the swell models, the surf should be in the 1-3+ feet range and high tide. Since the viz will be lower, 10 feet, my recommendation is that it would not be worth the drive in from the inland areas. But if you show up, be prepared in case we cancel our dive plans. So with that, if you haven't dove with us before, show up a bit early, say 7:15 so we can get to know you. Info on where we meet is on the web page under directions. See you tomorrow.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
