Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Joined up at a good time, viz has been improving, now if we can keep the rain away, it should stay this way all week. Just show up for a scheduled Saturday dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Speaking of "Scheduled dives".... Not tomorrow, but NEXT Wed SCD welcomes the return of Hump Day divers. So IF you can "Show up" for a WEDNESDAY dive at 9 AM at our usual meeting spot, you can and will have buddies to dive with. How does that sound?? For the first few weeks, please let me know IF you will show up. Dale will be leading the dives and James said he will be there too. So with 2 people willing to show up on a regular basis, that is a good start. We agreed on 9 am to meet on our last Saturday dive. See, I do listen to diver requests. So if you want to join our Hump Day Divers, just show up. Info on the web page as to where we meet. Show up at 9:00 and leave for beach at 9:15 SHARP, don't be late. I would suggest that people share email info & phone numbers as needed until this gets a decent following.

Current conditions around Laguna Beach. The swell is nearly 1 foot, almost "Lake Laguna" conditions, thus, viz is improving too. So with a 1-2 foot swell and 15-25+ feet of viz, what are you waiting for?? Plus it looks like SA winds maybe starting up too. Our dive at Cleo Street was pretty good on Saturday, decent viz and about half the group found the wreck, so good dive. I can't believe I let Louis talk me into that dive spot, I was not in that kind of shape to walk up the cliff, but I made it and Louis was right, we probably won't be able to dive that spot the rest of the year. The sand is disappering as it does this time of the year, so if you want to dive this spot or Mountain, get there soon, or getting to the ebach will be tough or impossible with your gear on.

Our plans are for this Saturday, yesterday the weather forecast said possible rain on Fri, but today, no sign of that in the forecast. So we should be in good shape for our plans. Get your gear ready and be ready to dive.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
