Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. It is a very good time to get into diving with us, conditions are great. So what will it take to get you to show up and dive with us?? Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. "Very good". I got a dive report from our Hump Day Divers and viz at Heisler Park has dropped a bit from the w/e, but still more than 30 feet, the dive report is below. With 1-23 feet of surf, lately it has been near "Lake Laguna" conditions. If you can get out for a dive, DO IT!!

Have most of you noticed the sunrises and sunsets lately?? Great picture taking to say the least.

Our plans are now for Saturday. The tide will be high as we meet up at the mall, surf is be 1-2+ feet and viz should be 20-30+ feet and water temps 75+ degrees.... Well, I had to see if you were paying attention on the water temp. But what more could you want for local diving?? We need the low water temps for kelp health and the great viz we have right now. But some offshore winds would be nice too, make conditions even better. So get your gear ready.

Hump Day Divers dive report (From Dale):
-Divers: 6
-visibility. 30ft +
-Beach Dive: 1-2 feet break
-Dive time in: 10:40am
-Dive time out: 11:25am
-ADT: 45min
-Water temp: 61 deg
-Max Depth: 37feet
-Heisler Park
-Dive Buddy: Sal
I was the first diver at the mall, and then James showed up a few mins later followed by 4 other divers. We left the mall at 9:30am and proceeded to Heisler Park. Conditions were perfect. Sunny, and calm with no wind. We could see straight through the waves which insured us great conditions. We suited up and proceeded to our drop down point. We all descended and the visibility was 30ft + in spots. We saw plenty of fish, including very large lobsters, bat rays and a single Angel shark. Once I reached 1,000psi my group returned to shore while 2 divers remained to burn through the remainder of their HP tanks. All in all, it was a great day to dive, and it sure did beat working.
