Good morning Divers!!!

Begin Time: 9:13am
Time: 49 min
Max Dept: 30ft
Temp: 62 F
Visibility: 30 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, high tide, small waves, surge.
Dive Buddies: Far. Total 23.

The freeway interchange of the 405/22/605 was closed again. I was prepared by leaving early. I got to the mall only a few minutes late and there were new
people talking to Rich. With the tide being high and the surf low, we could go to South Laguna and we decided on Montage Resort.

When we arrived the water looked nice except for being a bit choppy. We suited up and walked on down.

I was diving with Far and we dropped down and swam to the reef. The water was clear and the sand looked clean and shiny. We swam around the reef and into
the cove. I saw some fish hovering around and got some video of it.

We swam along the reef in and out and through the kelp. I laid on my back looking up at the canopy admiring the view and the bright sunlight coming into the
water. Far saw a little leopard shark hiding in the rocks swimming around.

We rounded the reef's edge and headed back into shore. When we surfaced, we were in about 6 feet of water. The waves were small and getting out was easy.
The walk back to the car was always hard.

After packing up our gear we headed to Husky Boy's for food and conversation. It was an excellent day of diving and a few of our group didn't get enough and
headed to Shaw's Cove for a second dive.
