Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. All you need to do is to show up for a scheduled dive soon. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The rain advisory was finally lifted yesterday afternoon. If you dove during the rain advisory you should heed what Louis wrote from Dr Sam Miller. I will add one more thing, the part about "If you MUST dive" and I would say "Why risk it?" You should not be in the water. Our water quality quite honestly goes to Hell when it rains around here. I was talking with a City councilman about that at a dive club meeting awhile back and his words were, "You know, what is 'up there' really does end up down here..." Those gutters end up in our oceans. Think about that the next time you drain your car radiator into the street gutter. But anyway, the viz today should be getting better at 20-25+ feet and the surf is low, 1-2 feet.

Our plans... Well, there is rain in the forecast for Thanksgiving w/e. If you are able to get a dive in on Wednesday, you should do it. What I call "Beat the storm". But I will keep an eye on the conditions. I will still send out email on Thu & Fri to let everyone know what is going on. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
