Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I would normally say "GO", but... The rain advisory is still in effect as I write this. I expect that to be lifted today. On Saturday, talk about "Beat the storm", we were loading up gear as it started to rain. By the time we were at the Husky Boy, it was raining pretty good. I even said "Well, this is enough rain for an advisory..." So please check the County's web site http://ocbeachinfo.com for when it gets lifted. IF you have never seen how they do the advisory, it is always right at the top of the page, don't even need to wait for the map to load. But it is a very good resource for you when planning a dive. We can't stop bacteria levels unless we all help by watching what goes down our gutters. Heed the warnings.

Our plans are for Saturday. The good news here is that the flag at Main Beach is blowing towards an offshore direction, this means these winds are going to knock down the surf. So diving should be in your plans as long as the rain stays away. Get ready for Saturday.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
