Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Seems like a lot of people joined up in the last couple of days, could it be the great diving conditions we have this time of the year?? Simply show up for a scheduled dive and you'll have plenty of people to dive with and gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

As Louis mentioned yesterday, we had a very large group and it was good that we split up into 3 smaller groups. Not that the places we dove could handle 35 divers, rather "Parking is a..." in Laguna as we know.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Beyond GOOD. Well, if Saturday the viz was anywhere from 30-40+ feet, someone I trust about viz said Sunday there was 60 feet of viz at Heisler Park. People ask me why viz changes so much, there are so many factors for our viz, water temps, plankton blooms, kelp spawning, water movement... Pick one or more. But today I expect viz in the 35-50 feet range today, it will depend on where you go into the water. With surf "Non existent" all you need is decent beach access & parking. High tide is always preferable, so pay attention to the tide charts.

Our plans are for Saturday. I see in the 7 day forecast that there could be some rain due in for Saturday, so stay tuned. But have your gear ready & be ready to dive.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
