Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Pretty good. I have received a few other dive reports, some say the viz has been poor at Shaw's and others say Heisler Park is running 20 feet, so what's the deal here? Is it the difference between the 2 dive sites? Or possibly the time of day, the tidal movement was up to 7 feet over the w/e, so maybe that's a big factor in what is going on. But one thing for sure, viz right now has dropped from the 60 feet on Sunday down to nearly 'typical Laguna'. Today, I'll say you need to pick your dive site carefully if you are looking for viz. I'll say that viz should be 10-20 feet around the area. Surf is also a bit higher at 1-3 feet too.

Keep in mind I said to meet up at Poppy Street, Little Corona for tonight's night dive. Parking will be 'Interesting' there, so get there early if you can. Meet up time is 7 PM. Drop me a dive report if you go. I expect viz around 10-15 feet.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
