Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I would call it 'Typical' today, as in typical Laguna. You'll find the surf ok at 1-3 feet, maybe a bit lower. But the viz has fallen back to 10-20 feet. It might be possible to find a bit better, maybe at Deadman's Reef. So it seems to me our best viz of the year is gone until Nov/Dec. Keep in mind that the County has issued a rain advisory, that should be in place until Tue or Wed. For those of you who read the link I had on Fri for the surfer who died from a stapf infection that the surfer got after going surfing right after it rained, it sort of hits home about what I've been saying about those County advisories. Here is that link again:

My recommendation is not to dive until that rain advisory is lifted.

So now you have the proper links for your dive plans.

I noticed on Saturday that when we got to Crescent Bay, the beach was dry, but by the time we left, there was a torrent going across the beach into the surf. I mentioned it to others, "Look for that, I wouldn't dive when I see that..." I also saw a lot of surfers right near the point where that water was. Makes you think, that's for sure.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
