Good morning Divers!!!

Begin Time: 8:57 am
Time: 55 min
Max Dept: 40ft
Temp: 60 F
Visibility: 40 feet

Dive Buddies: Total 20.

Birthday dive! If you missed out on this dive, you really missed out on the excellent conditions. Up to 40 feet of visibility at Deadman's Reef. The surf
wasn't too bad, the water wasn't choppy and the water temp hasn't dropped yet.

I arrived at the mall and only one new person was there. I twisted Rich's arm for Deadman's again. His emails sounded like we would have normal
Laguna conditions so I wanted to go to the best place in Laguna for the visibility. We took off and headed to the beach. There, the conditions looked
really good and we suited up.

While swimming out, I took a peek underwater and it was looking good. We reached the drop down point and descended as a large group. Visibility
was good and we could see each other more than 30 feet away. After everyone was down and ready to go, we took off for the reef.

I followed Rich to go around the reef and enter it through the eastern end. I saw the usual fish and some lobsters. After awhile I split from Rich and
followed Michelle and Dave around. Then they took a turn and then I ran into Kristi and we finished the dive together.

We swam back to shore at a leisurely pace and ascended in 5 feet of water. There we were met by the majority of the group. Getting out of the water
was easy enough as long as you let those big waves pass you by. After the dive we packed up and headed to Husky Boy's for food and conversation.
What an excellent day of diving! If you missed out, you really missed out!
