Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The news media is forecasting high winds in the area, that means a SA wind condition. That will mean flat surf and good viz. I saw there is a water warning for Bluebird Canyon, that tells me the area of Cress/Mountain would not be a good idea for a dive. Surf today should mainly be 1-2 feet and viz improving at 20-30+ feet.

I had a couple of emails about my report of White Sea Bass at Crescent Bay. Turns out there have been several divers who have seen them, so that is good. With good viz, I hope more divers report them. Plus reports of Sargassum weed for the same area, which I noticed too. My observations over the last couple of years is that as the kelp recovers and grows and build a better canopy, that will cut off enough light and the Sargassum will die back, again, my observation there.

Our plans are for Saturday. Will the viz as good as on this last Saturday (Louis' birthday dive)?? We'll see, stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
