Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. I wish I was saying conditions were great, let's go. But it could be better. Show up for our next scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with and gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I was in Laguna at Las Brisas last night and the surf was running 2-5 feet right there & Main Beach. The good news is the rain advisory has been lifted. The Main Beach live cam was showing the setting Moon, as I wrote this. But it also shows the surf and that looks like 1-3+ feet. Viz should be suffering at 10 feet or so. Could be a bit better at some spots. Drop me your dive reports.

Our plans are ON for tomorrow. Everyone needs to decide the "Is it worth it" factor. I expect surf to be similar to how it is right now at 1-3 feet with rogue waves higher than that. Viz at better spots should be 10-12 feet, maybe a bit better if I am optimistic. Louis & I have been conversing and the thinking is it can change over night too. So if you live in the inland areas, you need to decide if it is worth the drive. My thinking on that is thumbs sideways. But if you are new to the group show up a bit early so we can get to know you. Louis & I are usually there by 7:10 or so. Info and maps are on the web page under "Directions" in the center of the page. We'll see YOU tomorrow, BE THERE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
