The surf has been up and down throughout the week. Conditions were going to be hit and miss, but surf was down on Friday and Saturday. We gave it
a try and we were pleasantly surprised at the good conditions.
I arrived at the mall and few new people were there and some for their second time with us. We decided on Deadman's for good visibility and took off
for the beach at 7:45.
We looked at the surf and it was small but some good sized waves came in. We suited up and entered the water and swam out to the drop down point.
The current was strong and was pushing us to Seal Rock so we had to position ourselves a few times.
When we dropped down we were in the inner reef and at the pinnacles area. Rich swam around that area and I exited it and headed to Deadman's. A
few followed me and after crossing over the sand we reached the reef.
I swam into the canyon with Paul and Eric and took some video of the CA sheephead fish which were wanting to interact with us. When we finished
with that it was time to head back and we swam back to the inner reef and on to shore.
After exiting the water, we went over to Husky Boy's for food and conversation. It was a good day of diving.
Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
