Good morning Divers!!!

Begin Time: 9:03 am
Time: 25 min
Max Dept: 46ft
Temp: 57 F
Visibility: 10-25 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide, waves, current.
Dive Buddies: Total 19.

Rich called in sick so it was my turn to lead the group. There was an accident on the 405 which made me late to be picked up by Dave. So we arrived
a little late and met the new people. We had 3 for the first time diving with us. Since conditions aren't the best, we decided to go to Deadman's Reef in
Crescent Bay.

We checked out the conditions and the waves weren't bad at all. So we decided to go for it. We suited up and swam out to the drop down point. We
were off so I adjusted my compass headings and we descended. At the bottom, we gathered and started the swim to Deadman's Reef. After a few
minutes we reached the reef and went up and over the top and into the canyon.

Inside the canyon, I went back to the crevice where I took some video before. A large scallop was there and I got it on video. A lobster was inside
another crevice and I got a video of that too.

One of my group members was getting low on air and we headed back. We didn't get too far, we ascended at edge of Deadhenge and went up to the
surface. We had the long swim back to shore. After the dive we met at Husky Boy's for food and conversation. The conditions were normal for this time
of year.
