Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a scheduled dive soon. you will have plenty of others to dive with and you can gain experience in our local waters too. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The swell models still show surf at 3-6+ feet in Laguna. I did notice that at this time of the morning, the surf looks like it is 1-3 feet, but it really changes quickly. I still would not be out there, even IF you could get out there, consider the viz, it would be what I call FRIMO (Facial Reflection In Mask Only). Let alone that diving is most likely closed in Laguna by the LBLG's. You can call the recorded report at 949.494.6573, they update it around 9 AM. Just remember when they close diving in Laguna they can cite you, something to remember. Save your diving for a better day. Surf is expected to remain very high until tonight, so we'll see how it looks tomorrow.

Our plans don't look very good for Saturday, at least right now. The high surf doesn't help, neither does rain in the forecast for Thu/Fri. We'll see, stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
