Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Looks like more than a few people have finished their OW water classes and looking for people or groups to dive with. You'll enjoy diving with us, that is, once we can get some better conditions. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. That S swell is still messing up Laguna. For the new people, since Laguna faces S, a swell from that direction is not good. I see that this AM it looks about the same it was last week, the AM hours there appears to be 1-3+ feet of surf, viz is suffering at 8-12 feet. In the afternoon, surf builds to 2-5+ feet. I see from the news media, there is a large storm off the end of Baja, that appears early in the storm season for that, but I'm no expert on that. I really don't think it is worth it today, but that is my opinion.

Our plans are for Saturday. Time to get those pagan rituals going, because we only have 1 high tide, which could make for decent conditions, but the surf will make the call. Stay tuned while Louis & I try to figure this out, we'll get out our crystal ball to see if that helps.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
