Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive, once we have decent conditions. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I was watching the live cams yesterday around 4-5 PM. I saw an easy 3-5+ feet of surf. This morning I expected it to drop down to 1-3 feet, but I was wrong, it was still breaking 3-5 feet. So viz is suffering at 10 feet & less. But in my opinion, it is not worth it.

I did get a few dive reports from the w/e, the best viz I heard of was 10-15 feet at Deadman's reef. So the idea of only one high tide in a 24 hour period seemed to pay off somewhat for viz. Surf reports were all over the place from 1-3 feet to 3-6 feet for the w/e. We have to decide by Friday morning what we do and we make our decision very easily, would we take out new divers based on the conditions and our answer to that for this last Saturday was 'Nope'.

Our plans for Saturday. Rain is being shown on the news media right now. Inland of Laguna, I haven't seen any rain, yet. On the live cams, it looks wet down in Laguna right now. So 'Urban runoff' will be a possible issue today, keep that in mind. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
