Rich couldn't make it and with it being low tide, I chose Crescent Bay. Another south swell was coming in but it was small so we were able to manage
it. The weather was cloudy during the morning but sunny after the dive.

Dave and I reached the mall and there were a few new people already there. Paul was talking to them and then I introduced myself to them. Dave and I
talked about which site to go to on the way over and we settled on our default, Crescent Bay. We took of for the beach on time and zoomed down to
the dive site.

Our parking area was already filled! There were a class or two already there and they were getting ready to get into the water. We parked close to PCH
and what we should have done was moved down to Heisler Park. In fact next time, if it's too crowded we should move on.

We suited up and entered the water and swam to the drop down point. I was having troubles with aligning my camera, light and stick. I tightened it and
it was pointed to the side. I fumbled around with it and got it pointing straight without being loose but the light was pointed to the side. After getting
home and fumbling around with it I discovered how to adjust it properly.

We dropped on down and headed to the reef. We were on the west side and when we reached the edge of the reef, I corrected course and headed
east. There we found the reef and I went up and over into the canyons. I took some video and swam along the kelp and headed to the east end. We
turned into the canyon and I found my usual crevice that I get into and take video from there.

After cruising around a bit, it was time to head back in. When we left the reef, we were joined by another subset of the group and swam all the way to
shore. In about 8 feet of water, we ascended and exited the water.

After packing up our gear we headed over to Husky Boy's for food and conversation. It was a good dive, although the water was a bit milky and not as
clear as we hoped.
