Good morning Divers!!!

Begin Time: 8:53 am
Time: 33 min
Max Dept: 50ft
Temp: 61 F
Visibility: 15-20 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide, south swell waves, surge.
Dive Buddies: Rich. Total 20.

A few new people showed up at the mall. We discussed the tides and since it was low, we decided to go to Heizler Park. We got into our cars and took
off at 7:45.

The ocean looked good. A small south swell was hitting the beach with it increasing during the weekend. We suited up and entered the water.

We swam out pretty far and dropped down onto the reef. We swam along the reef looking at what's in the nooks and crannies. We swam to the far end
and there we encounter colder water and not too good visibility. The water was warm throughout the dive but at the end of the reef it was cold. We
swam back along the reef and we saw a school of yellow tail fish. They came up from Baja enjoying our warm water. The kelp still looks good and it
looks like it'll survive our warm water.

We swam along the sand the rest of the way to shore. Some big waves were hitting the beach when we exited and we had one that fell down. The
lifeguard came over to assist and rescuing toys that were going to be taken away by the waves.

We packed up and headed to Husky Boy's for food and conversation. It was a good day of diving before the large south swells hit the beach.
