Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive, once conditions are better, and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. We still have the S swell and a rain advisory, so what do you think? Right, just plain sucks right now. The surf in the AM is still running 2-4+ feet and the viz is low. As I said yesterday, I don't recommend diving until after the rain advisory is lifted, due to bacteria levels in our waters. But if you decide on the islands or some other location, let me know how it was in your dive reports.

Our plans for tomorrow are 'History' as in canceled. I've been seeing a lot of reports about our upcoming El Nino. So we'll keep an eye on that too. In 1997, the last big El Nino, we had surf in Laguna up to 18 feet, there were a lot of diving related accidents that year and I do not want a repeat of that. So keeping everyone informed is a good way to handle that. So stay tuned for next Saturday, let's see how that pans out.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
