Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Simply show up for a scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with and get better with our local waters too. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Still lots of info from the local news media about rain here, but as of now, nothing here in S OC that I have seen, as I write this. Surf is running 1-3 feet with the swell coming out of the W, which favors Laguna. Viz today should be decent at 10-20 feet, or better in spots. Drop me your dive reports if you head out today. But keep an eye out for thunder storms, because lightning can & does strike the water. So if you see big clouds around the beach, you need to be able to get to a safe place. Remember this sport is not worth dying over, no matter what. Make good informed decisions about your diving.

Our plans for Saturday will hinge on the weather, surf & viz look decent, but if we get rain today and the County issues a rain advisory, we will cancel. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
