Good morning Divers!!!
Over the weekend I received several dive reports for diving in Laguna. What I found interesting was that on Saturday the dive reports were saying choppy surface and viz in the 8-15 feet range, so less than ideal. But on Sunday, I did get a report of viz at Deadman's of 20-30 feet and very good conditions. I call this an example of how quickly conditions can change in Laguna. It doesn't happen that way all the time, but it does happen. As Louis said, we feel we made the best decision for our plans, keep in mind that we're not always correct and we'll admit to that, but we have to decide on Friday what Saturday will be like.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I just checked the County's web site for a rain advisory, nothing yet. But on the swell models their scale is on the 2 foot scale and it shows Laguna getting 4+ feet of surf right now as I write this. If so, then viz will be low at around 10 feet, better in spots and worse in others.

Our plans are for Saturday, we're keeping an eye on the conditions, all you need to do is to get your gear ready. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
