Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon and you will have plenty of others to dive with here. Welcome aboard.

My recap from Saturday. I can summarize this easily, IF you did not dive on Saturday, you REALLY missed out this time. With Viz on our dive 40+ and other places in Laguna getting the same or better, yep, you missed out. When I saw 2 schools of White Sea Bass I really thought I had had an excellent dive, fish 'Everywhere'. But when I saw a CA Triggerfish, which I had only seen once before in 40+ years of diving, Saturday's dive became one of the 'Best ever'. We had tropical viz with an extreme amount of 'Our' fish. At one point, I was looking up Deadman's Reef and I could see the surface very clearly easily 45 feet away. Even though I did not take my camera rig, it would have been one of those days were it was tough to take a 'Bad shot'. Plus water temps were in the mid 60's, not too cold at all. As I said you missed out if you did not dive on Saturday.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Not as good as Saturday, but still decent. Yesterday the surf was up in Laguna at 1-4 feet. But my guess is the viz is still very good at 20-30+ feet. So if the surf is flat enough for you and your skills, get your dive in. Send me your dive reports.

Our plans are for Saturday. High tide will be at 9:30 so that is in our favor. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
